Hi Everybody,
 
Thank you for all the notices and alerts.
 
Since we're on the topic, twice within the last month it seems someone has tried to remove a screen from one of our front windows, the most recent attempt being last week. The first time a corner of the screen was popped out, the second time a corner of the mesh was cut and pulled out of the screen frame. The person never got farther than that, but this seems worth mentioning. We're the house on Darrow just north of the cul de sac.

 Neighborhood alert!!! 

At  4:30 am on June 28th a home on Florence near Lee was broken into through a first floor open window. A woman was raped at knife point in her bed while her children slept in the other room. There will be a community meeting to address neighbors concerns tomorrow night, July 2, at 7:30 at Washington School. The suspect has not been caught. He has been described as a 5'3" to 5'5", African American male in his late teens or early 20's.

Please make sure all windows and doors are secured before going to bed! Let the police know if you see or hear anything suspicious.
