[Dewey-Darrow] Block Party August 15th

Friends--

Hopefully you got the flyer this weekend about the block party on  
Saturday, August 15th.  It will be on the 1200 block of Darrow,  
probably close to the Crain end again, with potluck dinner at 5.   
We'll have an informal meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at 7pm  
Dominicks to plan the party.  Some people have suggested making a  
bigger event of the block party (e.g., with bouncing structures and/or  
additional activities for kids) so we'll also talk about those ideas  
and how we can make them a reality next year.

Summer Neighborhood Party

Saturday, August 15  (Rain date Sunday, August 16)

  1200 Block of Darrow Avenue

Meet and greet neighbors old and new!

Potluck dinner at 5:00

Bring your favorite dish to share, and any folding chairs you have

The street will be blocked all day for neighborhood kids

And a fire engine will visit at 4:00!

(1200 Darrow neighbors, please move your cars Saturday evening)



Fiesta de Verano de la cuadra

Sabado, 15 de Agosto (Si llueve se llevara acabo el 16 de Agosto)

En la cuadra 1200 de la Avenida Darrow

Le invitamos compartir con sus vecinos y dar la bienvenida a los nuevos.

Cena a las 5:00 pm

Traiga su platillo favorito para compartir y algunas sillas si tiene.

La calle se cerrara todo el día para los niños del vecindario y a las  
4:00 pm traerán un carro de bomberos

(Los vecinos de la cuadra de 1200 Darrow por favor quite su carro la  
noche de el Sábado)
