Saturday August 15 is Neighborhood Block Party Day
@
intersection of Darrow Ave and Crain St
THe 1200 Block of Darrow Ave will be "liberated" in the morning and
taken over by all people under 15 for the day!!!!;
At 5pm adults will gather with our contributions to share at the pot
luck dinner;
Frank will play his great Music will from Gay and Bill's garage on the
corner of Darrow/Crain ;
*****If you have ideas for crafts/ face painting or other kid friendly
activities please bring them along to share with all the little
people!!!****
(this gathering is for all folks living between Dempster / Lee and Dodge /
Florence- so dont hesitate to join in as this is a neighborhood wide
party)!!!
In the spirit of building community- one block party at a time- i
share the following poem in hopes that you and your children will come out to
the street on Saturday to get to know your neighbors from this wonderful
community!!!!
