Given the current economic crisis that we are all impacted by - i
thought that letting you know about this speaker seemed like an appropriate use of
our lists-
Klein is a brilliant young economist and if you have not heard her speak
or read her book- you might consider doing so if you have the time - Monday
at 7pm at Northwestern U

Naomi Klein is most famous for telling the real story behind global
capitalism. Her books include the national best-seller No Logo and a new book, The
Shock Doctrine. A voice for critiquing the global economy, her work has been
translated to over 27 languages. In 2004, she produced a documentary with her
husband Avi Lewis called The Take, spotlighting a rising worker collective
