Notice Update
A SNOW EMERGENCY is being declared for today Sunday January 11 and Monday
January 12. The odd-numbered sides of residential streets will be cleared
between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday and the even-numbered sides will be cleared
on Monday during the same time period. Violators are subject to ticketing and
towing.
The City has received over a foot of snow and forecasts are predicting
another 1 to 3 inches for Monday followed by a temperature drop into the single
digits. It is imperative that we clear the residential streets today and
tomorrow in advance of these conditions. Please adhere to the parking
restrictions and park as close to the curb as possible to allow plows and emegency
vehicles access.
Although we are not issuing a snow route parking ban for tonight, we are
asking that you avoid parking at metered areas between 9pm and 7am for the next
few days to allow crews the opportunity to clear the snow.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Suzette E. Eggleston
Superintendent of Streets & Sanitation
