>Sewage System Repairs Begin July 11th

>EVANSTON, IL - About 200 feet of the easternmost traffic lane of
>Orrington Avenue from Davis Street north to Church Street will be closed
>to traffic from 4 p.m. on Saturday until 4:00
>p.m. on Sunday for sewer repair work.

>Sewer repair will begin on Saturday, July 11, 2009 and end on Sunday,
>July 12, 2009.  The project entails installation of approximately 50
>feet of sewer liner in the underground sanitary line that runs from 1603
>Orrington to the main sewer line on Orrington Avenue. The partial lane
>closure is to accommodate a semi-trailer truck that will be parked
>directly above the manhole cover.  The work will mostly occur over night
>with minimal noise disruption to area residents.

>The contractor company responsible for the restoration process is Kenny
>Construction Company, headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois.  The
>construction company sent notices to area residents informing them of
>the work to be done.
