Thank you to everyone who has express  their concern for our neighbors and 
regarding this incident.  

I  have spoken to the Roberts as well as the Police Dept.  It is my  
understanding that the police took a follow-up report this afternoon regarding  
the injuries.  I am also advised that animal control is working on this  
matter.  The process of dealing with such an animal is a legal  process.  The 
animal is presently contained at its owner's residence and  is not on the 
loose.  

I will continue to monitor this and will be  following up with both the 
police and animal control over the next 24 hours to  determine how the process 
can be expedited.  

In the interim, if  there is anything else anyone observes, contact the 
police and let me  know.
