This is incredible! Why to euthanize the dog??? Was it a case of rabies? The
onus should be on the dog owners, not on the innocent animal.

Subject: [Dewey-Darrow] Resolution to Pit bull incident
To all of our neighbors: The Chief of Police confirmed that with the
consent of the dog¹s owners, the pit bull involved in the incident Saturday
night, was impounded Sunday and euthanized this morning. This whole event
makes us very sad and we feel that the dog was also very much a victim.
Thanks to everyone for concern and support.
