Illinois is a "two-bite" state - a dog is declared "dangerous" if it bites
once. On the second bite, the dog is euthanized to protect the public.

This dog was already declared "dangerous," attacked the Roberts' dog with no
provocation and could barely be restrained by its owners.

There really is no choice when you have a dog that uncontrollable.
