To all area neighborhood groups;
Community-wide meeting for area residents to meet with
representatives from the Dempster-Dodge Shopping Plaza and city officials to discuss the
future direction and development of this plaza.

Location: St John's Church Crain/Wesley Wed December 9 at 7pm

As a huge business neighbor on the west side of many of our
neighborhoods the success or failure to thrive- of this plaza has a direct
impact on the quality of our lives and on our property values. It has for too
long languished with many unoccupied spaces, a need for beautification of
the grounds and a need for more upscale business.
Freed and Associates- owners of the plaza - do NOT know the
richness of culture, diversity and lifestyle of the neighborhoods bordering
their plaza and consequently have been quoted in a recent news article as
saying that they can't draw business here as we are seen as a "secondary
tertiary market " - code word for a less than desireable area.
Please consider coming to this meeting to INTRODUCE Freed and
Assoc. to the real neighbors and neighborhood that they border. Let's talk
about how we can all work together to create a vibrant and thriving shopping
plaza. We can ALL benefit.

There will also be city representatives attending to speak to
the plan for the street work currently in progress on Dodge between Dempster
and Lee.

Bring your neighbors , your ideas and your questions!!!!!!!!
