Subj: {Asbury Dodge Neighborhood Group} Earthquake in Haiti
Hello Neighbors,
My husband John has been doing work in Haiti for the last few years
serving children and their families affected by HIV/AIDS. He is the Director of
International Programs at Children's Place Association. They are appealing
to their major donors today to help as many of their families as they can
with medical care, food, water and temporary shelter. The money they collect
will go directly to families in the areas in which they are already
working. If you are looking for a way to contribute, Children's Place families can
use your support.
You can donate by going to their website
_http://www.childrens-place.org/_ (http://www.childrens-place.org/)
You can send a check made out to Children's Place International directly
to the organization:
Children's Place Association
1436 W. Randolph, 5th Floor
Chicago, IL 60607
Attn: Haiti Quake Relief
You can also drop off a check at our house, 1031 Florence.
Any donation you make is tax deductible.
At this time they are not accepting in-kind donations but may when they
take their next trip there.
Thank you,
Heather
