SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE A South Side man was found dead in the driver's seat of a car late Thursday in north suburban Evanston.  
Knoxley Morrison, 27, of 8811 South State St., was found at 915 Fowler Ave. and pronounced dead at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston at 11:15 p.m, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. 
At 10:57 p.m. Thursday, a citizen called police to report a black car with a broken window with the brake lights on parked on Fowler just north of Main Street, according to an Evanston police release. 
Officers found the man dead, sitting in the driver's seat, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head, the release said. 
The North Regional Major Crimes Task Force was notified and will be assisting Evanston police in the investigation. No one was in custody Friday morning.An autopsy is scheduled for later Friday.
